Senior Brand Designer
Opportunity
Four Four Design is a boutique graphic design firm delivering projects that include brand strategy, visual identity, print collateral, websites and social media, exhibit design, environmental graphic design, and signage and wayfinding. Our clients cover many sectors including workplace, education, healthcare, retail, architecture & design industry partners, and more.
We are seeking a Senior Brand Designer to join our team that is a visual storyteller and passionate about delivering inspiring designs. You will be part of a nimble team and participate in all phases of design and delivery including visioning, research, concept design, documentation, and coordination.
Responsibilities
Develop unique and innovative design and experiential concepts aligning with branding principles and criteria.
Lead the design and delivery of the branding aspects of a project.
Participate in and/or lead internal creative reviews, workshops, and client presentations.
Demonstrate a general knowledge of branding principles, graphic standards, technical details, codes, and material specifications.
Produce creative design solutions across multiple 2D and 3D applications.
Integrate brand messaging, color, imagery, type, and composition into deliverables.
Collaborate with clients, design teams, and other graphic designers on client projects across multiple sectors.
Work across multiple projects as needed.
Our Ideal Candidate
8+ years of relevant experience.
Professional degree in graphic design, visual communication, interior design, architecture, or related field, from an accredited program.
Strong illustration, typography, composition, and information design skills.
Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, CAD Tools, and MS Office.
Experience with the built environment, and comprehension of architectural scales, sections, plans and elevations.
Works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment.
Preferred working knowledge of print production.
Preferred working knowledge of fabrication and vendor management for signage and EGD projects.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and people-management skills.
Ability to work independently and under own initiative, as well as work well in a team dynamic.
Ability to work full time during normal working hours preferred (part-time may be considered for the right candidate).
Able to and comfortable with working 100% remotely.
